Lady rain! Comes and go as thou please,
Unvow by the circle of time;
Just smaller than friends yet filthy as beast,
Turn bigger than foes in a hideous crime.
This time maybe thou spread love,
And moisten the land and sea below;
Next time, who knows maybe thou spread death.
And perished all the things thou saw.
Nature devastation, a cruelty of heaven,
While hell lies mysteriously in deep;
A follies prey in the arms of raven,
A final sign, where dead angels weep.
